the yestadt millinery fall 2014 preview was one of the few non-work events i was able to attend this past week and i was really, really thrilled about the opportunity. i’ve been a huge fan of molly’s for a while and her talent continues to develop with the seasons; the upcoming collection features unique takes on classic styles like the beanie and beret in the form of prints, materials, and color palettes.

Look how hard I’m trying to venture out with my style, you guys. Ok I know it’s still black, but hey…it’s something different. I’ve never been one to wear hats because I think my face looks awkward in them, but I’m obsessed with this Yestadt Millinery one for a few reasons:
1. It’s black.
2. It has a veil which is super mysterious and fun.
3. I got weird/funny/confused looks when I wore it for the first time and that is also fun.
So maybe I will start wearing hats now.
